The trustees were welcomed into the amazing home of Don and Anne Prusha. A tour of the garage and vehicles was followed by a light supper and a prolonged discussion on the deck.
President Scheid opened the meeting at 7:30 and reminded those in attendance of the August 10th car show at Punderson State park, the Concours d'Ordinaire on August 11th from 11:00 to 4:00 at Lawnfield, the August 16th meeting at the Sawyer House in Mentor and the September lst Annual Picnic at the Donley Farm.
Keith Sykora was asked to bring the club stop watches to the Annual Picnic. Anne Prusha volunteered to contact Eleanor Donley regarding the provision of the cake at the picnic . Sally Carroll was reminded to bring the gymkhana trophy to the Picnic. Keith Sykora requested permission to purchase a gift certificate for Chip Elliott in honor of his many years of work in designing gymkhanas for the club. Permission was granted.
The September 21st Clambake at the Bunsey residence was mentioned and all were encouraged to come. Andrea Scheid said that the November Election and Wine and Cheese meeting will be on November 15th at the Scheid's new place of business. The Scheids will provide coffee. A discussion of the nomination process followed.
Sally Carroll graciously offered her home for the December 13th Christmas dinner and gift exchange meeting. Arrival time will be 7:00 p.m. with dinner at 8:00 p.m. President Scheid has made arrangements for the January banquet. We will be served a catered dinner and be entertained by a mystery evening at a pottery store in Chesterland.
After the meeting was adjourned we gathered in the living room and enjoyed a fire while Don Prusha told us about the adventures of building their lovely home.
