The Cleveland Sport Car Club met on a beautiful summer evening for cocktails and dinner at the Sawyer House restaurant in Mentor, Ohio.

George and Jane Albert and Ann Gelehrter were welcomed back into the fold as returning members. All members enjoyed a wonderful meal and a delightful dessert which was baked by our president in honor of the secretary's birthday.

Following our meal, Guy Savelli, owner of the Sawyer House, told us about the history of the building which was built by Daniel Sawyer in 1843. The property became Wayside Gardens from 1916-1974. Mr. Savelli took members on a tour of the building and we enjoyed seeing the network of fans in the main dining room which had once graced a Pensylvania train station.

President Andrea Scheid reminded the members about the Annual Club Picnic at the Donley Farm on September 1st and the September 21st Clambake at the Bunseys. The November meeting will be at the Scheids new place of business and will be the traditional wine and cheese event followed by annual elections. The presentation that evening will be about dent removal.

The membership discussed plans for the January banquet and decided that alcohol consumed that evening should be all BYOB including mixers.

President Scheid adjourned the meeting.
