Members and guests of the Cleveland Sport Car Club gathered at 5:30 p.m. at Judson Manor. A cocktail hour was followed by a nicely prepared and presented sit down dinner. President Andrea Scheid welcomed guests, thanked outgoing trustees and welcomed new trustees and new officers including John Quigley and Margo Johnson who will share the office of vice president. President Scheid also thanked Bill and Eleanor Donley for their assistance in obtaining Judson Manor for our use. She presented the President's Award to Zo Sykora and thanked her for being available this past year to answer questions and provide general support. President Scheid introduced Sally Carroll as our president for 2003 and handed over the club gavel to her despite objections from Neil Scheid who has grown inordinately fond of his role as official gavel banger. Sally Carroll's first act as our new president was to present outgoing president Andrea Scheid with a plaque honoring her service to the club in 2002.

Mickey Mishne was introduced as the evening's speaker and thanked for bringing 20 wonderful works of art described by Mickey as "Three Centuries of Auto Images" since they began with a nineteenth century poster and ended with a twenty-first century poster.

Mickey thanked the Medina Toy and Train Museum for their involvement in the slide presentation he brought with him for our entertainment that evening. He invited us to come and visit the museum and described some of their collections. He then showed his slide presentation on the history of the automobile covering three centuries of automotive evolution. (Mickey regards a steam tractor developed by Napoleon's army for hauling cannon as a very early automotive prototype). The presentation covered selected aspects of automotive design focusing on styling but including mechanical developments as well.

The membership, having enjoyed their meals, the camaraderie of the club and Mickey's fine presentation, adjourned from Judson Manor to enjoy snow free roads for their trips home.
